The first edition of Castles Rally took place on the week-end on September, 7th & 8th of 2019, in the Centre region. For this first edition, participants had the opportunity to live an experience rich in discovery and adventure thanks to two car rallies on the roads of the Châteaux of the Loire Valley.
This event started on Saturday afternoon with a brunch at the Château des Sept Tours to then take the road of the most beautiful castles of the Loire Valley with a beautiful sun. Participants had the opportunity to discover the Château de Champchevrier and the Château de Langeais before doing a pause at the Château de Villandry where a cocktail and sweets were offered. Participants had time to visit this beautiful castle and his famous french gardens.
They then took the road on which they could discover or rediscover the Château de l’Islette, along the Loire to go to the castle of "Sleeping Beauty": the Château d’Ussé. They could also drive along the Château de Montsoreau and drive through the vineyards of the Chinonais and of Saint-Nicolas de Bourgeuil.
The first day of Castles Rally ended at the Domaine de Beauvois where a cocktail and gourmet diner were waiting for the participants. A fashion show was proposed by Coppelia Event during the cocktail and the participants were then able to enjoy a gourmet meal in a friendly atmosphere.
On Sunday morning participants were invited to a breakfast at the Domaine de Beauvois to start this second day where new GT & supercars joined us. Subsequently, each vehicle took the start of a 110 kms (70 miles) rally on the most beautiful roads of Touraine to arrive at the Château de RochecotteDuring this rally, the participants were able to pass in front of the Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, and in the town of Chinon to have a breathtaking view of the Château de Chinon. They were also able to pass in front of the Fontevraud's Abbey, known as the largest monastic citadel inherited from the Middle Ages. Participants were also able to discover the Château des Réaux before arriving at Château de Rochecotte where a cocktail and a gourmet meal awaited them.
They then took the road towards the Château du Lude's gardens, passing by the Château de Lathan, the Château de Gizeux and the Château des Essards through the twisting roads of de the Indre-et-Loire and of the Sarthe.
Participants finally arrived in Château du Lude's gardens where a large public was waiting for them to discover all the cars participating in the rally in the castle's park. They were able to visit the castles and its gardens before enjoying a cocktail to close this event rich in car passion and sharing.
